I have created extensive packaging for Bell in both the mass and specialty retail channels. This has included design, style guide development and compliance, developing branding strategies and more.
Header Card Design for the Mass Market
This header card design was crafted to align with the specialty channel while effectively distinguishing the mass market's unique identity (see red box above). My primary objective was to enhance sustainability and create a cohesive brand image that presents Bell as a unified company, moving away from the previously disparate aesthetics.
Key considerations included minimizing costs for mass sales, reducing SKU counts, and improving consumer shopping experiences. Transitioning from box packaging to a header card format allows shoppers to easily view the graphics and try on the helmets, streamlining the purchasing process.
Concept packaging for Bell Helmets in the Specialty Channel. The hinged design lifts, allowing the customer access to see, feel and try on the helmet. The angled front panel creates a large real estate area for branding and product information that’s easy to see even on helmets at floor level.
